Wetherbee Architecture connects clients to their environment with a cyclical approach to design. From the integration of natural building techniques to the careful re-use of salvaged materials; the goal is on not only to decrease our detrimental impact on the environment but to provide long term regenerative design solutions. Emily is an architect and teacher with academic work focused on resilient and efficient building enclosures and systems. She has taught courses at The New School and Rhode Island School of Design.
She earned a BA in Ecological Design from The Evergreen State College where she curated her own curriculum including studies with The Ecosa Institute at Arcosanti, Earthship Biotecture, Strawbale and cob projects, and Permaculture Farms. She graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from Parsons School of Design where she participated in the Design Workshop program in Mississippi; a post Hurricane Katrina design-build project.
Prior to starting her own practice, she managed multiple large-scale public housing, schools, and institutional projects while at Nelligan White Architects in New York City- focused on flood protection, energy resilience, and high-performance enclosure systems. Emily is licensed to practice architecture in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, and New York.

Jonah is a Professional Mechanical Engineer and Certified Passive House Consultant, with over twenty years of experience with renovations and new construction. His work focuses on building systems and energy efficiency. He supports the Architect with modeling and analysis in order to deliver a better performing building at a better value to the owner.
Jonah graduated from Tufts University with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Philosophy. Jonah is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Laura is an architect and teacher based in Argentina. She graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 2015. Her postgraduate studies were in Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism. She is the Co-Owner of CUTO Studios- a firm offering architectural visualization, 3D rendering services, and design development.
Laura has over ten years of professional experience working on design development and construction administration for residential and public projects. Laura began collaborating with Wetherbee Architecture in 2021, providing support with design drawings and 3D visualization.
