Two Family House

This new 2-family house consists of a 2,600 sf primary unit for the Owners and a 1,190 sf rental unit.  The design provides south facing views of the yard and 400 year old beech tree, while providing privacy from the rental unit, busy road, and neighboring properties. Large steel accordion doors open up to the stone patio.

The house features many custom bamboo details and finishes: including the cabinet and counter millwork, hand rails, treads, and soaking tub. The third floor offers a home office space and exterior porch that is carved into the roofline- with views of the bay.
